My wife Vallie is setting off on her holiday on Saturday 8th November 2008 and this is her itinerary.............

Day 1: Australia/Siem Reap. Travel all day to get there. We have to fly to Melbourne and change planes for Siem Reap in Cambodia.

Day 2-3: Siem Reap. Sightseeing in the Angkor complex.

Day 4: Siem Reap to Phnom Penh. Fly to Phnom Penh (55mins). Sightsee around the city. Drive to Tuol Sleng Museum to see stuff from Pol Pot's regime.

Day 5: Phnom Penh to Saigon. Sightsee around Phnom Penh, then afternoon flight to Saigon in Vietnam. Tour Ben Thanh markets.

Day 6: Saigon. Sightsee around Saigon and Cholon and visit markets.

Day 7: Mekong Delta. Drive to My Tho and the docks. Travel by boats to the islands in the delta, then back to Saigon.

Day 8: Cu Chi Tunnels/Tay Ninh Day Trip. Sightsee around the area of the tunnels and crawl through if you want to. Travel to Tay Ninh for the midday service. Travel back to Saigon.

Day 9: Saigon/Hoi An. Fly to Danang. sightsee in Danang at Cham Museum. Travel to hotel in Hoi An.

Day 10: Hoi An. Walking tour of Hoi An Old Town.

Day 11: Hoi An/Hue. Sightseeing north of Danang, museum and China Beach. Visit Marble Mountains and caves. Visit the Citadel at Hue.

Day 12: Hue/Hanoi. Sightsee around Hue, the Perfume Pagoda and Khai Dinh Tomb. Evening flight to Hanoi.

Day 13: Halong Bay and overnight junk boat. Travel to Halong City and port. Board junk for cruising around the bay. Lunch and Dinner onboard and overnight stay at anchor in Halong Bay.

Day 14: Halong Bay/Hanoi. Continue cruising Halong Bay. Drive to Hanoi for sightseeing by cyclo.

Day 15: Depart Hanoi. Sightseeing in the morning and visit Mausoleum. Go to airport for flight home.

Day 16: Arrive Australia. Yay!!!
